Meak Productions celebrates 1 year of Official Faces Marketing Campaign at Atlanta’s Black Gay Pride Celebration!

Atlanta, Georgia / Monday, August 11, 2008

In celebration of the 1st Anniversary of it’s Official Faces Marketing Campaign, Meak Productions will have a FULL Presence at the Atlanta Black Gay Pride Celebration on Labor Day Weekend 2008.

Located in Atlanta, Georgia, Meak Productions is the First Talent Agency and Production Company EXCLUSIVELY Created for the GLBT Community. Its mission is to provide an avenue of exposure and contract opportunities for GLBT Talent, as well as create a more professional and diverse image of GLBT Culture which in turn will help prevent the current stereotypes and discrimination towards GLBT people.

Special plans have been arranged to effectively market the Company’s vision to the estimate 75,000 attendee celebration. The company will have an official presence at the Atlanta Renaissance Hotel in Midtown Atlanta (the Official Host Hotel of Traxx, TraxxGirls, Lion’s Den, and Xtreme Entertainment related events).

"I’m so excited about this because it will be our first public appearance at a major event”, states Miko Evans, Executive Producer/CEO. "My original plans were just to be a regular attendee and check out some of the events. However, due to an inspired suggestion from one of our Collaborating Partners, and the support from our Collaborating Partners and Registered Talent who are also Entrepreneurs, we decided this was an opportunity we could not pass up”.

To start the Labor Day weekend off, on Friday, Meak Productions will have a presence at Phase One (a popular GLBT Nightclub in Decatur) for the official Birthday Bash of Sir Swerve’ (Meak Pro’s New Lesbian Talent of the Month for August/September 08). “This is going to be GREAT for the company”, stated Mr. Evans. “We are in SERIOUS need of more Lesbian Talent and by having a presence at Sir Swerve’s party, we will be able to market the Vision to our Gay Sistas”.

On Saturday, Mr. Evans will be one of the guest panelist for Xtreme Entertainment’s 2nd Annual State of Black Gay America Summit featuring special guest speaker, actress Sheryl Lee Ralph (the original Deena from the broadway hit Dreamgirls, Moesha’s TV Mom, etc.). On Saturday night, Meak Productions will be present at Club Traxx to sign autographs, distribute products and information about the company and the talent.

On Sunday, Meak Productions will end the weekend with a special Business Network Social at the Renaissance Hotel featuring a Special Birthday Bash for R. E. Parker AKA King Ralph (One of Meak Pro’s Feature Talent from the Artistic Nude Expressions project), and interviews with the Press.

Along with King Ralph & Sir Swerve’, 2 of the newest Official Faces from Meak Pro’s Summer Quarter Campaign will be present: Marlowe Rainbow (Mr. International 2007) and Ankahmen.

Open Casting Calls will be held at each location where the Company will have a presence, and 1 on 1 interviews will be conducted between Sunday - Tuesday.
