Best Butt Cardio

I always get a kick out of watching people at the gym, especially in the free weight and stretching areas. Everyone has their own way of doing crunches, or lunges, or squats, probably because they're trying to target their trouble spot.

However, the cardio machine you choose can have a lot to do with the area you target. Women's Health magazine listed the best cardio machines for your bum, and you can check them out below. After all, if you're putting in the time at the gym, you want to make sure you're getting the most out of it you can, right?

Stair stepper

Work your butt by leaning slightly forward and taking bigger step. If you let go of the handrails, you'll force your glutes to stabilize -- just make sure you're not putting yourself in any danger!

Elliptical (Cisco's Top Pick)

For the best butt workout, stick your butt out a little, with your hips scooted back, and push through your heel.

Jog on a treadmill

To get the most out of your treadmill job, strike with your heel, not the ball of your foot. To work your butt, up the incline. Or, you could walk sideways to work new muscles.

Cycling

Sit as far back on the seat as you can and push the pedals down forcefully. Or, if you're spinning, try sticking out your butt while standing.
