If you find yourself unexplainably attracted to bad boys rather than nice guys, there may be a good biological reason for it.

A new study by New Mexico State University has shown that men who possess some or all of a group of dark personality traits have more success in the bedroom.

The traits, known collectively as the ominous sounding ‘dark triad’, persist in the human population despite their risk to cultural and societal stability. The scientists believe there might be a evolutionary strategy behind it.

The narcissistic, psychopathic and Machiavellian human traits and considered to be the ‘dark triad’ that makes some guys so damn hot!

The study shows that guys with a higher level of the dark triad personality traits usually had more partners and generally sought out short-term relationships.

Okay, so what’s this all got to do with gay dudes?

Well, maybe not a lot. While the study may not be directly translatable to gay guys, it certainly provides a good scientific-sounding excuse for (and chance to talk about) why some of us always fall for the ratbag gay guys.
